My Blog:

Well, here it is, the obligatory links page. What would a personal website be without one? Hopefully they all work.
Note: Even though I may have a lot of links here, I don't participate in link exchanges. Please don't send me any requests to do so. If you know of a site that you think I may be interested in, go ahead and send me a link, and if I like it enough I may add it here, but I won't add links just to try to improve my Google ranking.
Jefflewis.net was originally my fourth choice after lewis.org, lewis.net, and jefflewis.org, but those were already taken, so I took what I could get. I guess that's one of the problems of having a common name. Anyway, here are some other people that wanted to use jefflewis.something or lewis.something.
- jefflewis.com An artist, showing some of his works.
- jefflewis.info Some guy's online resume - pretty nice, actually.
- jefflewis.ca Some musician, apparently from Canada.
- jefflewis.org What are you doing to my namesake? At least make the site look good.
- jefflewis.name Looks like someone got a domain name and Internet hosting account, but hasn't done any actual work on a site, yet.
- jefflewis.museum Noone's using this, yet, but it links to a listing of all sites using the .museum extension.
- lewis.org Okay, it looks like this guy's had a website for a while. But come on, do something more interesting with it.
- lewis.com A software company, I think. They should pay attention to Rule 2 from Web Pages That Suck.
- lewis.edu A middle school in San Diego.
- lewis.net You're not doing anything with this page! Make something, or give up the domain name so that somebody else can do something.
- lewis.name Hmm. Looks like some hosting company registered this domain and they're ready to sell it.
- lewis.museum Same as any .museum not currently in use - links to a listing of all sites using the .museum extension.
- Irfanview A really good graphics viewer. It can't match a program like Photoshop for editing, but it's good enough for the common website requirements of cropping, resizing, rotating & renaming, and it has batch support for all those functions. But where this program really shines is plain old viewing, browsing through directories. This is the first program I install every time I get a new computer or fresh OS installation.
- Lavasoft USA Makers of AdAware- a program that automatically deletes spyware and related unwanted programs.
- The Panda's Thumb A discussion forum on evolution.
- Pooflingers Anonymous A personal blog from someone named Matt, with the own self-description, "Just an average skeptic who likes to start an argument now and then. Way too much time spent on the Creation/Evolution debate."
- Pharyngula The personal blog of PZ Meyers, an associate professor of biology at UMM. Focuses mainly on evolution & science, with some politics & social commentary thrown in.
- Respectful Insolence The personal blog of a surgeon who goes by Orac. Focuses on science & medicine, and debunking pseudo-science (particularly alternative medicine and holocaust deniers, and to a lesser degree ID & literal creationism).
- The Loom The blog of science writer, Carl Zimmer, focusing mostly on biology. It's very informative and entertaining, at least for nerds.
- Science Blogs Since three of the above blogs are now hosted on this site, I might as well just link to it.
- Frink Tank Science commentary from guys who like the Simpsons. What could be better? Besides, these guys are so cool they got booted from Science Blogs. update - Frink Tank is now defunct. No more new posts, but you can still check out the archives.
- Confessions of an Anonymous Coward An interesting blog by a person coming to grips with abandoning their religion
- X-Entertainment A nostalgia website, focusing mainly on the 80's, which I find pretty interesting, since hey, I grew up in the 80's. Also has a blog with slightly more varied topics.
Miscellaneous Aviation Pages
Unofficial & Personal Web Pages
- gyroplanepassion.com- A website, in its own words, "dedicated to all things relating to gyroplanes, autogiro, autogyro, gyrocopter, autogir, autogyre, autozyro, ect." It looks to be especially useful to somebody wanting to own their own autogyro.
- Fatboy's Aviation Graphics Page- My web page on GeoCities, with many aircraft images
- Peroxide Propulsion Using peroxide rockets to power helicopter & autogyro rotors, and for a personal jetpack
